They are less intelligent than Alphas and Betas. Gamma- Gammas are in the third level of the Brave New World caste system. They wear the color mulberry, and are necessary to complete the jobs that are too advanced for lower castes, but too simple for Alphas. They hold jobs such as nurses, mechanics, and fertilizers. They are also intelligent, but not quite on the level of the higher level Alphas. Without the intelligence and abilities of the Alpha class, our society would not work.īeta- Betas are the second level of the caste system in the World State. Some of the jobs and positions they hold are Philosophers, Controllers, and Directors. These are the more physically and intelligently superior to lower caste ranks. Alpha- Alphas are the highest ranking members in our caste system.
